Scoring the baby quiz

Shower

The family shower was beautiful, though overwhelming. Being the center of attention is intense, as is opening gifts in public. Thankfully Ed was forced by my side to diffuse the focus. I'm so lucky to have such enthusiastic, loving and helpful relatives. It's going to be a radical addition to the Fernandez Purple Group, this little kid. I'm so excited for everyone to meet her. All my aunties are going to be lolas (grandmothers) and my cousins are finally going to have a niece in the States. I hope that this birth triggers fertilization among other cousin couples! (is that crass?) I only wish that the Stevens family could have partaken in the festivities!

Went on a walk on the LA River after brunch

AT OUR LAST BDAY CELEBRATION WITHOUT CHILD. AMBER AND MAGGIE HOSTED A BEAUTIFUL BDAY BRUNCH!

30+ weeks...count down begins!

I'm bigger, she's stronger. I still feel great, energetic and able, but am getting more and more antsy for her arrival! Birthing class is doing well to equip us with our labor "toolbox." Edward is learning how to give a calming back massage (can't believe that I hadn't tapped into those little paws before!) People still exclaim, "you're so small!" and co-workers are astounded by how "big" I'm getting.
