Dresses and Gender
I bought my first "maternity" outfit when I rediscovered the $19.99 China-made dress at Target (I know, how snotty I am for not having realized the glory of Target fashions already!). I'm wearing it (left)....and I look pregnant!
Ed and I MIGHT find out the gender of the Fetus (which we call Peach now - the fruit comparable to its actual size) on Friday! We will probably also hear the heartbeat. I can't wait! Second trimester is truly sweeter than the first. I have the will to function when I get home from work, I don't get intense, nauseating, primal hunger at the drop of a hat and I actually now feel pregnant (visually). I like having a belly! It's like a weird alien belly, but I love it. And I like resting my hand on it. Now I know how comforting pot bellies can be.

Belly's Bustin Out
My mom said that she didn't show until her 5th month. Well, I'm in my rounding out my 3rd month and friends tell me that this is "Showing." What do you think? I feel like my belly....she's bustin out. Reworking of wardrobe is underway. The 3/4 angle shot does accentuate the bulge - but you get the picture.

Back into Parents House
Adios Casa Rita! After 5 rich years, we are shamelessly moving back in with my mom and dad for the green outdoor spaces, copious parking spots, the in-house OBGYN nurse-nanay, and to save to buy a house in the next year. We will miss Heliotrope, the red line metro, the families, the drunken tramps, Griffith Park, the freaks, the corner market avocados, and Scoops. Come celebrate the charms of Casa Rita with us on Saturday, October 11th over dinner and spirits before we leave the Komfort of K-town!
The Baby Bomb
After precisely a year post marriage of one on one nestling, another is brewing in Letitia's belly. Three months along now, it feels pretty for real. The tummy is turgid and new habits (or demands) are becoming familiar to the dad to be. This is Titia at 12 weeks, no exaggeration, no large meal prior to photo.
